The exterior of your home takes a beating from the harsh elements and weather everyday causing the paint to chip, and dirt and grime to accumulate.

Over the course of a year, you may really notice a dulling of your paint’s exterior due to this. That is why it is recommended to pressure wash your exterior every year to keep your home looking fresh and clean.

Although stumps can be left in the ground after tree felling, the decision to leave them in situ can, in some cases, be problematic. It’s not just their unsightly nature and potential obstruction of future landscaping projects; the likelihood of the stump forming new shoots and possibly spreading root diseases.
Paying that little bit extra for stump removal at the same time the tree is felled often makes the most economic sense. Of course, stumps are often large and heavy and as such require the right equipment and techniques to be successfully removed.

Down to Earth own four specialist stump grinders – two of which are tracked to allow for jobs where access is across rough terrain and our smaller grinder is perfect for hard to reach stumps where access is limited.

Our arborists receive regular update training on the best stump removal techniques and how to minimise ground disturbance to leave a completely clear patch of ground where the tree once stood.

Artificial turf can be a better solution when the environment is particularly hostile to natural grass. An arid environment or one where there is little natural light is examples.

Ideal for holiday homes when maintenance of lawns is not practical. It is also a solution for elderly homeowners who find the upkeep of lawns too much hard work.

• Feather edge fencing

Also known as close board fencing
Good for: Privacy, security, marking boundaries.

More robust than horizontal waney fencing, this type of fencing is ideal if you need a more sturdy option or extra security. Feather edged fencing is created from tapered boards secured vertically to form a solid fence. Feather edge fencing is either sold in individual boards or as panels that are already constructed.

• Picket fencing

Also known as Palisade fencing.
Good for: Marking boundaries, keeping pets and animals secure.

This typically English open slatted design is best for decorative or boundary uses rather than privacy or security. Although picket fencing can be used for making sure children or animals can’t escape your garden!

• Willow or hazel hurdle fencing

Also known as Weave fencing.
Good for: Privacy, marking boundaries.
Hurdle fencing constructed using willow or hazel is ideal for adding a decorative division to your garden, and can also be used to add additional privacy.

• Decorative fencing
For adding a touch of flair to your garden.
• Pre made panels
Cost-efficient and easy to replace.

Well, what can I say, Troy and his team are a top bunch of grafters. We have him come round and quote one evening, within a week the work was done and to an extremely high standard at a very competitive price.

Troy and his team are the sorts of people you can leave unattended and trust them to get on with the job and deliver the best result. My wife and I could not be happier with the work carried out, we will be using Wilding Gardening Services again for sure.

Greg Langford

Troy and his colleague cleared an area of ground at the front of our house and laid membrane and gravel – then planted a low-level privet hedge. It looks fantastic – a contemporary look, beautifully finished off.

Troy was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and we will be asking him to come back help us again.

I can highly recommend Wilding Gardening Services.

Davina West

Thank you very much, Troy and Mark, for giving our garden an overhaul today.

You’ve gone a great job and we are very pleased.

From the point of contact to carrying out the work, Troy has been extremely professional and I would recommend Wilding Garden Services without hesitation.

Amy Humphrey

We can’t recommend Troy and Joe enough, they are brilliant at their jobs. Punctual, polite, professional, honest, speedy and very, very skilful. We love our new garden and can’t wait for the spring to be in it.

Would highly recommend them to others and will be using them again. If you are struggling to find excellent gardeners give Troy a ring.
